The red arrow will lift off over Dubai Expo 2020 and Abu Dhabi – Dubai Blog

The world-famous aerobatic team Red Arrows will represent the United Kingdom at Expo 2020 Dubai, showcasing their latest 20-minute spectacular performances and flyovers, and celebrate the first week of the event with tourists.

At 4 pm on October 8th, the Red Arrows will take off to show visitors from all over the world their extraordinary flying performances in the 57th season. They will inspire people of all ages and backgrounds with amazing precision and teamwork spirit.

This is part of a broader visit to the UAE to help celebrate the UAE’s 50th anniversary and look forward to the next 50th anniversary, which also includes an exhibition at Abu Dhabi Corniche on October 5th at 4:30 pm.

In Dubai, the performance will support the UK’s broader role in the Expo and highlight the exciting activities and exhibition plans held at the British Pavilion throughout the Expo. Prior to the demonstration, engineers and pilots will support STEM participation activities to demonstrate the combination of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, which involves maintaining aircraft on the ground and flying in such a precise manner. After the show, the team pilots will also appear in the British Pavilion to meet with the public.

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team Commander and Air Force Commander David Montenegro said: “The Expo 2020 Dubai provides an excellent opportunity for Red Arrows to join the UK to participate in this event, and to inform thousands of people through our dynamics. Of people show off the global British aerial display.

“At the core of Red Arrow is innovation and precision, which reflects the inspiring theme of the stunning British pavilion at the World Expo.

“In addition, the Red Arrows’ visits to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and our cooperation with our counterparts there, demonstrate that we continue to enjoy close ties with the UAE as an important partner of the United Kingdom.”

Squadron Captain Tom Boulder is the captain of the Red Arrows. He flew in the front of the nine aircraft formation as Red 1. Abu’s presentation in Dhabi and Dubai will be a great opportunity for the team to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the UAE and look forward to the next 50th anniversary.

“This year, we will show some of the largest shapes in our inventory, including the formations named Swan and Big Vixen Roll, all nine jets are only 6 feet apart, inverted at the same time.

“Synchro Pair-Reds 6 and 7-will perform boomerangs. This is a brand new action in 2021, a spectacle full of arena.”

British Commissioner Laura Faulkner OBE for Expo 2020 Dubai said: “It’s great to be able to welcome the Red Arrows to Expo 2020 Dubai. Since 1965, they have excited audiences all over the world. It’s a bigger event at the Dubai Expo 2010. We are looking forward to an incredible display, which is a great way to celebrate and highlight the British Pavilion and our exciting event plan.”
