Every now and then, Abu Dhabi’s network of bars and restaurants surprises the community with a new promotion. And we mean truly shocking. As word spread through WhatsApp groups, frantic phone calls (remember those?) were made to verify details of the deal. “The accountant must not be able to add it. It must be a mistake. Maybe it is only valid on the sixth Tuesday of every month?”

The (deal) on the roof is on fire
The so-called Sky High Saturdays will take place every weekend between 4pm and 8pm. Individuals pay only AED50 at the door, which is less than the price of a burger at quite a few of the city’s high-end burger joints if you’re up for comparison, and you get to enjoy a selection of 10 house-made drinks. For you. Not shared.
That’s it. No gimmicks, no timeshare demos, and no pyramid schemes — just 10 frozen adult drinks for less than the average taxi ride home.

No, this isn’t some obscure, cloudy tub brew – there’s actually a healthy variety of sumthin-sumthins you can sip on – with red, white, rosé and sparkling wine varieties; a range of spirits; and options Variety of beers.
rave and wave
Aside from the ridiculously low drinking bills – Saturday’s session included stunning views of Abu Dhabi’s Downton Abbey and pool party vibes from the resident DJ.
As a final twist in this publicity fairytale, the Marriott Downtown left us with a little suspense, saying, “There will be bigger announcements from AT25 in the coming days, so keep an eye on this space.”
