TikTok users @mildwestsami released a video showing a new use for the fish tank they initially tried to make glass container.
When that didn’t work, she made the container a “cat display case” and now her pets take turns hanging out in the tank, showing off their cuteness.
TikTok user explains the situation in voiceover as video is shown cat in the tank.
“So, my in-laws gave me this old fish tank some time ago, and they were going to throw it away. I made it into a glass container. But I killed all the plants in it, so I made it into a terrarium. A cat. Display case. I have to say, the best decision I’ve ever made,” she explained.
The TikToker continued: “Whenever I walk by, I only see one of them sleeping there and that’s the biggest hit or serotonin. 1000/10, recommend.”
In the fish tank, @mildwestsami has a fluffy blanket and a cat toy, but otherwise, the cat takes up most of the space. Because of the glass on all sides, you can see cats relaxing and sleeping.

As of press time, the video has gone viral, garnering more than 354,000 likes. Based on the reviews, those who stumbled across the “cat display case” idea seem to fully agree with it.
The official TikTok comment for NEKO Cat Cafe in Seattle, Washington said: “We have a cat display case next to the bar called ✨Cat Flirtation Zone✨ and can confirm that everyone deserves a cat display case 😤.”
