Leading independent publisher Anthem Entertainment expands partnership with Timbaland, the company announced on Wednesday (June 7). Under the new arrangement, Anthem has extended its publishing agreement with the songwriter/producer while committing to building on their co-publishing venture, Blue Stone. The firm has also invested in Timbaland startup Beatclub.
As part of a newly expanded publishing deal – dating back more than 10 years – Anthem received additional publishing benefits for songs from Timbaland’s legacy catalog, including collaborations with Justin Timberlake and Jay Chou.Anthem did not respond billboardAsked for clarification on which songs were covered by the agreement.

While Anthem declined to disclose how much they invested in Beatclub, it noted that the investment was part of a Series A-2 round of financing in the music marketplace.
Founded in 2012, Blue Stone focuses on nurturing the careers of pop and urban songwriters; the current roster includes Milli Beatz, David Bratton, Justin and Jordan Mosley, and Garland Mosley.The joint venture consists of Eric Spence At Anthem, he will continue to attract a highly motivated client list.
