Joye in Aiken Jazz Camp will be held from Thursday, June 22 to Sunday, June 25 at the USC Aiken Etherredge Center. The camp is open to rising ninth graders through twelfth graders. Instruments accepted are trumpet, trombone, saxophone, clarinet, drums, keyboards, string double bass and electric guitar. Other instruments such as violin and voice can be considered.

The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department will hold a Bingo Ball from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Lessie B. Price Aiken Senior and Youth Center, 841 Edgefield Ave. N.W. This event is for people age 50 and older. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 per couple. Ticket sales run through June 16 and can be purchased at the Lessie B.
