Tourism Indonesia showcases destinations at ATMs

The Indonesian tourism industry showcased its potential during the ongoing Arabian Travel Market (ATM) at Dubai World Trade Center as part of the government’s strategy to promote Indonesia’s wonderful tourist destination to the Middle East market.

Indonesia is also currently running a campaign to support sustainable development initiatives through the “Every Step Counts” campaign, with the goal of reducing carbon emissions from tourism by 2030 and encouraging tourists to protect the environment and culture.

Ni Made Ayu Marthini, Undersecretary for Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, explained the strategies developed by the Ministry and the participating tourism industries. “Our theme for this year’s Dubai ATM is ‘Visit Indonesia 2023: Discover our wonderful new destination’. With this, we hope to drive the promotion of sustainable and quality tourism programs in several key tourist destinations in Indonesia. Indonesia.
