Evolution of Collaboration
Derived from ‘natural habitat,’ Naha is a personalized digital interface designed to propel sustainability, elevate environmental awareness, and encourage green practices in Abu Dhabi and beyond. The digital platform centralizes EAD’s outreach initiatives, leveraging scientific knowledge to turn climate intentions into actionable results in the UAE.
A Pledge to Sustainability
Dr. Shaikha Salem Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of EAD, expressed that the naha platform marks an evolutionary step in their partnership with du. Aligned with the ‘Year of Sustainability,’ the platform aims to break down sustainability concepts into tangible daily actions, reinforcing the commitment to environmental responsibility.
Empowering Individuals: Action
Naha offers personalized tools such as ‘my naha’ newsfeed and calendar, empowering individuals to adopt environmental lifestyle changes through increased awareness, event participation, and community engagement.
Variety of Initiatives
The e-platform encompasses over eight environmental programs and initiatives, including the Sustainable Schools Initiative (SSI), Sustainable Campus Initiative (SCI), and ‘Sahim’ Citizen Science Programme, targeting youth, school students, and the community.

Dr. Al Dhaheri emphasized that the alliance with du amplifies their capabilities to leverage digital technologies for heightened environmental awareness, lifestyle changes, and actionable measures.
