“We have a decent number of people planning to come,” Brown added.
On Sunday’s 2 p.m. entertainment stage, Gary Johnson and his daughter Mary Jo plan a “short, high-energy, violin/ String Performance”.
“Sue has been dedicated to the success of the festival for years and has always asked to fiddle with the music,” Johnson, the event’s entertainment coordinator, said in an email.
New performers, including more than 15 artists, will be Felita LaRock and her band, as well as Bob D’Epiro and Gary Fenton Duo, Johnson said.
He added that LaRoc “is an experienced” singer with a variety of musical tastes, having been the lead singer of the U.S. Air Force Flying Band at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
D’Epiro and Fenton are “talented, experienced musicians deeply rooted in Fairborn,” Johnson said.
Organisers said the two days of youth entertainment will include pony rides, train rides and face painting.
Another shuttle to and from the parking lot will be added, Brown said.
