Abu Dhabi-based media, entertainment and gaming district twofour54 today launched the ‘Community Hub’, a hub for gamers, aspiring filmmakers, storytellers, animators, freelancers, start-ups and SMEs Collaborative co-creation space creators where content comes together.

The Community Centre is located at the heart of the Yas Creative Centre, the first development in the region to be purpose-built for media, entertainment and gaming. It features a range of spaces, from private meeting rooms and lounges to screening rooms and brainstorming areas. By harnessing the connectivity between increasingly overlapping creative industries, this unique space will enable creatives to connect, collaborate and reach their full potential.

The Community Center also connects members with twofour54’s established partners, leading to valuable business and networking opportunities.

The community center was created to meet the growing needs of the market. It provides mentoring opportunities for young talents, promotes career development and ultimately owns their full-fledged projects. In addition to providing private and flexible workspaces for individuals in the creative industries, the community centre provides a medium through which creatives and freelancers can learn from each other, interact with each other and work together to develop the creative industries in the UAE .

The community hub includes the growing AD Gaming community, aspiring filmmakers from Arab Film Studios, and up-and-coming young talent from the Creative Lab. AD Gaming Center houses the Gaming Center of Excellence, established by software developer Unity Technologies, where students, professionals and small businesses can learn and gain the skills they need to succeed in the growing regional gaming industry.

Creative Labs and Arab Film Studios aim to support their participants through internships, workshops and courses in developing their talents and gaining experience.

NVIDIA will also launch its studio at twofour54’s community hub to support aspiring artists and industry professionals. NVIDIA Studio includes 10 state-of-the-art Studio computers with the latest GeForce RTX Studio GPUs, plus NVIDIA RTX accelerated applications. This means regional content creators will benefit from a smoother, faster and more efficient workflow and see their ambitious projects come to fruition. NVIDIA will also offer a series of training sessions and events that will bring the community together to improve the skills of creative professionals across the emirate.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the Creative Hub incubated around 1.2 million people globally. A long-term destination for the creative community, the Community Centre will provide businesses in the UAE and beyond with access to a network of creative and media professionals to help accelerate media innovation. It meets the needs of anyone looking to find flexible, fun ways to help their business grow and prosper.
