Col Bualzoud added that surveillance and follow-up teams managed to identify the gang, whose members had recently traveled to the UAE. They deceive victims by claiming they have the ability to double their money and sell fake foreign currency for real cash at below local market rates.
Col Bualzoud said the team set up an ambush and arrested the suspects one by one. During a search of their premises, counterfeit foreign currency notes, equipment and technical equipment for counterfeiting currency were found, in addition to tools and ink prepared for the same purpose.
He praised the team and their efforts to apprehend gang members quickly, despite the suspects changing locations and planning their fraud with extreme care. Col Bualzoud urged the public to continue to cooperate with police and to report any suspicious or illegal activity.
You must reject these notes and state your suspicion that they may be counterfeit.
