[ad_1]

Workers are deported from their place of residence and blocked until they receive wages

After the mobile labor court intervened, at least 84 workers in Abu Dhabi received Dh5.2 million in overdue wages.

According to officials, the dispute was resolved in record time. This is achieved by facilitating and expediting the registration of claims, hearing cases and making separate judgments on each worker’s rights.

A court order was also issued to prevent the expulsion of workers from their place of residence until they have received everything they deserve. The authorities were also instructed to take necessary measures to help workers who wish to transfer their residences to other companies.

This resolution is in line with the enthusiasm of the Abu Dhabi Department of Justice (ADJD) to quickly resolve labor cases, especially collective disputes.

The agency also aims to ensure payment of workers’ dues in accordance with instructions from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Justice.
