Emirates Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has launched a new Emirates ID registration form.

The authority shared changes implemented to make the application process smoother and more streamlined.

Here are the key features of the new Emirates ID registration form:

1. Redesigned the form.According to the ICP, this was done according to the authority’s “visual identity”

2. The applicant’s personal photo is placed on the upper left of the form

3. The application can be tracked by scanning the QR code on the upper right corner of the form.

4. The next step in the process is described in a dedicated section of the form.

5. The name and address of the receiving company is listed in the lower left hand corner of the form

6. Added a QR code to access the Customer Voice Gateway, a mechanism for registering complaints with the ICP.

7. Another QR code allows customers to change finger appointment dates.
