Dubai: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has issued a special circular outlining the official working hours of ministries and federal entities during Ramadan.
According to the notification, the official working hours of ministries and federal entities will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, working hours will be limited to 3 hours from 9am to 12pm, unless the nature of the work requires otherwise.
The notification is in line with the Cabinet resolution which approved the implementing regulations of the Federal Government’s Human Resources Act, which regulates working hours during the holy month.
The notification also states that federal entities may continue to implement the approved flexible working rules during Ramadan, observing the approved daily working hours.
On this sacred occasion, the Federal Government Human Resources Authority extends its condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Al Maktoum, along with His Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate, wish them good health and happiness.
