UAE condemns Gaza hospital attack, with over 500 casualties

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) issues a resounding condemnation of the Israeli attack on Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip, which regrettably resulted in significant casualties. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is deeply saddened by the loss of life and extends its heartfelt condolences to the affected families. Our thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery go out to all those who have been injured in this tragic incident.

In light of these distressing events, the UAE underscores the pressing need for an immediate ceasefire, with an emphasis on safeguarding the lives of civilians and the sanctity of civilian institutions. These principles are rooted in international humanitarian law, established international treaties designed to protect civilians and uphold human rights, all of which are crucial for maintaining the fundamental rights and safety of individuals, especially during times of conflict.PALESTINIAN-ISRAEL-CONFLICT

The UAE, in solidarity with the international community, fervently calls for the intensification of efforts aimed at securing an immediate ceasefire. This urgent measure is vital to prevent further loss of life and to forestall any actions that could exacerbate the already complex situation in the occupied Palestinian territory. We believe that concerted international endeavors are indispensable to promote a comprehensive and just peace, steering the region away from the precipice of heightened violence, tension, and instability. It is our hope that through collective and unwavering commitment, we can work towards a lasting resolution that prioritizes peace, security, and prosperity for all in the region.
