The UAE Under-16s celebrate with the trophy. — ACC
The unbeaten UAE became champions of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Men’s Under-16 West Division Cup, organized by the Bahrain Cricket Federation at the Vision Cricket Center in Sharjah.
Sweeping opponents, playing well in each game, achieved an overwhelming victory, and stood out in the Six Nations competition.
On the final day of the tournament, the UAE defeated Bahrain by eight wickets.
In earlier matches, the UAE beat Saudi Arabia by 10 wickets, Kuwait by 140, Qatar by 254 and Oman by 106 to show their dominance over all their opponents.
The final day also saw Kuwait’s Het Kishorbhai Hinsu break a century (106) and Janath Jeewanga Herath Liyanage take five wickets in his 211-run thrashing of Qatar.
In the other match, Oman beat Saudi Arabia by 106 runs thanks to a superb 75 by captain Jeet Vrajesh Shah.
UAE beat Bahrain by 8 wickets.
