Indian Rupee Strengthens Against UAE Dirham for Ninth Consecutive Session

In the early trade on Monday, the Indian rupee strengthened by 18 paise, reaching 82.77 against the US dollar (22.99 against the UAE dirham). This positive trend was supported by a surge in domestic equities, with domestic indices hitting record highs.

At the initiation of trading on the interbank foreign exchange, the Indian currency opened at 82.82 and touched 82.77 against the greenback, reflecting an increase of 18 paise from its previous close.

Consistent Strengthening: UAE Dirham

Eighth Consecutive Session

Continuing a trend, on the preceding Friday, the rupee exhibited strength for the eighth consecutive session, closing with a gain of 6 paise to settle at 82.95 against the US dollar.
