ABU DHABI, UAE – EDGE Group PJSC (“EDGE” or the “Group”), the UAE’s globally recognized advanced technology group, has been awarded Best Implementation in the Smart Workforce category at the prestigious ROI-EFESO INDUSTRIE 4.0 Awards 2022 Industry 4.0 in 2022 solution. ROI-EFESO Management Consulting AG awards the coveted honor every year to companies that implement forward-looking and successful pioneering solutions in the fields of smart factories, smart production, smart products and services, and smart supply chain management.
The award was presented by Dr. Lucas Johannes Winter, Managing Director of Contakt GmbH, to Reda Nidhakou, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Portfolio Management at EDGE, at an official awards ceremony in Munich, Germany on November 24.

After receiving multiple submissions from global manufacturing giants, 10 companies were shortlisted, 4 of which were declared winners for 2022 – EDGE Group, AU Optronics, Mangelberger Elektrotechnik GmbH and RITTAL GmbH & Co KG, after a six-year A months-long extensive review process and voting by an independent jury of 30 Industry 4.0 experts.
EDGE is the first company in this field to receive an Industry 4.0 award. Previous winners of the ROI-EFESO INDUSTRIE 4.0 award include Infineon Technologies AG, Robert Bosch GmbH Bamberg, Siemens AG and BMW Group AG Plant Regensburg, among others.
