The Danat Al Emarat Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Abu Dhabi, an M42 company, welcomed three Emirati newborns – a girl and two boys – in the first hours of Eid.

Emirati baby Abdullah of the Al Zaabi family was born at 12.12pm weighing 3.04kg.

“Baby Abdullah has brought us great joy and gratitude. We are so grateful for this precious gift on the auspicious first day of Eid. Our sincere thanks go out to the entire team at Danat Al Emarat Hospital, Thank you for the excellent care and support they have provided my wife and children.”

The second Emirati newborn, a 2.87kg baby girl, was born at 3am. She became the latest addition to her long-awaited family.


Baby Hamed at Danat Al Emarat Hospital

Emirati family AlHanaee welcomed a newborn baby weighing 3.49kg at 6.21am.

“We have decided to name our baby Hamid. We consider ourselves very lucky that our son has arrived in good health on this memorable day, which doubles our joy. We are very grateful to the team at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for their support The compassionate care provided by my wife and children who made these two beautiful moments even more special,” the father noted.

Omar Al Naqbi, acting executive director of the hospital, added: “This joyful event further strengthens our commitment as caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to these families and their newest members. We are extremely proud to have achieved the milestone of 33,616 births since the first baby was born at Danat Al Emarat Hospital in 2015.”

Gambian parents overjoyed

Gambian parents Zainab Touray and Youssou Faye welcomed a 3.045kg baby boy at Aster Hospital in Al Mankhool, Dubai at 3.29am.

“We sincerely thank all the staff at Al Muteena Aster Clinic and Al Mankhool Aster Hospital for their unwavering support and excellent care. With their dedication and expertise, our journey has been one of joy and comfort. We are very happy and grateful to announce that we are in Arrival of our precious baby boy born on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr,” said the delighted parents.
