UAE entrepreneur turns cooking oil into biofuel, partners with Swiss

Dubai-based firm, led by Emirati entrepreneur converting cooking oil to biofuel, partners with Swiss tech provider at Adipec 2023. The strategic collaboration aims to transform the sustainable chemistry landscape and includes a future joint venture.

This partnership combines Deasyl SA’s industry expertise with Lootah Biofuels’ manufacturing capabilities. Yousif bin Saeed Lootah, CEO of Lootah Biofuels, emphasizes their goal to expedite advanced biofuel adoption and green energy technologies.

Both companies exhibit glycerol valorization solutions for biodiesel producers at the event. Julien Thiel, CEO of Deasyl SA, highlights the alignment with their commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
