Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways said on Wednesday that its operations and flights to the United States were not affected by the FAA computer glitch.

More than 1,200 flights within, into and out of the United States were delayed due to computer glitches. The agency is reportedly working to restore the system.

“Etihad Airways is aware of a technical issue affecting all airline flights in North America. At this time, this has not had an impact on our operations and we are currently in the air and preparing to depart tonight for US destinations as normal ,” an Etihad Airways spokesman said in a statement to Khaleej Times.

The national carrier of the United Arab Emirates lists four U.S. destinations on its website, including Chicago, New York, Toronto and Washington.

In addition to Etihad, Dubai’s flag carrier, Emirates, also operates non-stop flights to various destinations in the US.

An Etihad spokesman said: “We will be monitoring the situation closely and will alert customers should the situation change.”
