Pile of old auto parts destroyed in blaze; no injuries reported

A fire broke out at a spare parts warehouse in Sharjah’s Industrial Area 6 on Thursday morning, destroying all its contents. No casualties were reported.
A senior official of the Sharjah Civil Defense said a report was sent to the operations room at 7.15am that there was a fire at the warehouse.
He added that civil defense vehicles rushed to the scene from Al Mina and Samnan centers and Al Nahda point as well as the National Ambulance immediately after receiving the report.
The incident was responded to immediately and brought under control within half an hour.
The civil defense team continued to cool down the scene to prevent the resurgence of the fire, and prepared to hand it over to the competent authority for investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
