Authorities urge residents to report sightings of animals
Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi is home to some exotic wildlife, including gazelles. These magnificent creatures have long lived and herded in the area. However, some videos have recently been shared of these animals leaving their habitat and roaming freely on the streets of the island, which can be dangerous for them.
Noticing this, the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency (EAD) has decided to relocate these graceful animals to a safer and more suitable habitat.
A team of experts has been assigned to investigate the matter and they are currently working to remove the animals. Until then, however, authorities have urged the community to be careful when spotting gazelles and to avoid disturbing them.
Anyone who encounters the animals is asked to report their sightings to freephone 800 555.
