I’ve been using the same sim card for over four years and I’ve been paying my bills on time, so I should get help from etisalat and wipe off this huge sum.
I’ve decided to pay the bill, not voluntarily, but it’s my only option because etisalat will disconnect my sim card if I don’t pay.
I would be very grateful if I could get help on this matter from etisalat. Thank you Gulf News.
From Mr. Jawadu Mutesasira
Response from etisalat management: Note that the case has been investigated and charges are valid and payable. Contact and update customers.
Mr. Mutesasira responded: thank you for your letter. Etisalat contacted me but the call agent failed to convince me, they never showed me evidence of multiple etisalat 3rd party subscriptions. I am 100% sure that I have never subscribed to any etisalat third party. However, I was forced to pay an amount of Dh484.35 because etisalat warned me to disconnect my SIM card if I didn’t pay. This is wrong. I recommend etisalat to protect its customers, not third party companies.
Editor’s note: We have forwarded the follow-up letter to etisalat for further comment. However, its management said that they have explained everything to the customer and will stand by the above answer.
(Process start: June 28. Organization response: July 7. Process completion: July 20.)
