On Tuesday, Abu Dhabi Police distributed gifts to 50 children at the Al Ain Al Tawah Center and the Zayed Al Yah Will People’s Foundation on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. This is part of the “Joy of Eid” organized by the Traffic and Patrol Department of Al Ain.

Colonel Matar Abdullah Mahri, director of the department, said picture books were also distributed to children as part of the programme. He said the initiative aimed to integrate children into society and provide them with opportunities to participate in various activities.

As part of the program, the kids also got introduced to the Children’s Traffic Patrol, a small car equipped with smart screens, cameras and various other technologies. In this way, children learn about the nature of police work.

The children were also explained about traffic safety and rules.
