UAE: Insurance company ordered to pay nearly AED 800,000 for damaged Lamborghini-News

According to the complaint, despite repeated requests, the defendant refused to pay the value of the claim.

The Abu Dhabi Commercial Court has ordered an insurance company to pay nearly AED 800,000 to another insurance company as a refund for repairs to luxury cars.

The plaintiff filed a lawsuit and demanded another insurance company to pay AED 799,972 as a refund for the repair costs incurred in a serious traffic accident at Lamborghini.

The company stated that one of the insured vehicles had a traffic accident, and the vehicles that caused the accident were insured by the defendant.

According to the complaint, the damaged vehicle has been repaired and payment has been made to the insured. However, despite repeated requests, the defendant refused to pay the value of the claim.

According to Al Bayan, an expert appointed by the court confirmed that the car was involved in a traffic accident that caused various damage to the body. The repair cost was AED 794,000 because it was a luxury car.

Therefore, the court ordered the defendant to pay AED 794,424 to the plaintiff, in addition to 5% statutory interest per year from the date of the claim, as well as legal fees and expenses.
