The Year of the Rabbit officially begins on January 22

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has sent a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping to congratulate him on the Chinese New Year.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also sent a similar congratulatory message to the Chinese President.
A colorful parade took place at Expo City in Dubai last Saturday, the largest Lunar New Year celebration outside of China.
This Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the Community Year of the Rabbit. It officially started on January 22.
