More than 300 local and international researchers and experts specializing in family medicine and primary care will attend the 4th International Congress on Ambulatory Healthcare in Abu Dhabi.

Organized by SEHA’s medical arm, Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), the conference aims to be a platform for medical experts to discuss how to improve the quality and outcomes of healthcare delivery in the emirate and beyond.

Dr Noura Al Ghaithi, AHS CEO and Conference Chair, said primary care is the foundation of any healthcare system.

“We work hard to continuously improve and develop our centers to meet and exceed international standards and we will continue to do so while sharing our experience with others and learning from their experience by organizing meetings like this.”

Supported by the Abu Dhabi Department of Health, the conference includes 12 multi-specialty tracks including Family Medicine, Rural Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Radiology, Allied Health, Home Nursing, Community and School Health, Patient Centered Medical Homes , medical education, health information and technology.

“At AHS, we use family medicine as the foundation of the health care we provide to our communities. This strong foundation enables us to monitor their health, prevent disease, and detect them early. Healthcare providers in the emirate and beyond are adopting this model by sharing our lessons learned,” said Dr Omar Al Jabri, Chief Medical Officer, AHS.

“We are confident that the Congress will have a unique style, being the first we have organized post-pandemic. We will be hearing from international and local experts from different specialties, which will set the stage for further growth and success Pave the way,” said Dr Al Jabri.
