Dr. Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Manan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and some of the ministry’s leaders joined hundreds of workers from all walks of life for Eid al-Fitr at the Al Rawashed Mosque in the Al Khawaneej area of Dubai, in collaboration with Beit Al Khair Association cooperation.
Al Awar said: “It is our duty to be with the workers as they deserve all our appreciation and respect for their contribution to the UAE’s development process and Ramadan is an ideal opportunity to meet them and hear their observations and opinions, and benefit from their experience in the labor market.”
Al Awar commended the efforts of those responsible for Ramadan Iftar and their zeal to serve workers during the month of Ramadan, in line with true Emirati values, the spirit of giving and kindness, and the noble principles embodied in the month of compassion.
It is worth noting that during Ramadan, the normal working hours of all workers in the country’s private sector are reduced by two hours per day, and businesses can implement flexi-working or remote working models according to their interests and nature of work, with specified daily working hours during Ramadan Within limits.
