UAE Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology visits Bin Ghalib facility

Dubai, UAE: – Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousif Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, recently visited the Bin Ghalib Group’s facilities and met executive-level stakeholders to discuss how the group is deploying advanced technology, automation, innovation and digitalization to enhance its operation.

Bin Ghalib is a leading name in the electrical engineering industry in the UAE, providing complete solutions in switchgear, engineering, trading and services. Since its inception, it has grown into a group of 16 independent companies.

Her Excellency was welcomed by Mohammed Binghalib, Chief Executive Officer, Bin Ghalib Group of Companies; Uzma Qureshi, Director Corporate Strategy, Bin Ghalib Group; and Omar Bin Ghalib, Chief Operating Officer, Bin Ghalib Group of Companies. The visit included a demonstration of its digital twin technology by Binghalib subsidiary VBG Intech, a manufacturer of control valves. She was then introduced to LV Switchgear to learn how artificial intelligence will play a role in the future of manufacturing and was able to discuss how digitization, automation and technology can solve other industry challenges.

This work ultimately strengthens It strengthens the UAE’s industrial and technological capabilities and positions the country as a knowledge-based investment hub, in line with our national goals to digitize and automate the industrial sector.”

She added: “The Bin Ghalib Group is a valued company in the UAE and one of our most admired innovators. It is at the forefront of many different manufacturing sectors and is now poised to help set the benchmark for the future.

Mohammed Binghalib, CEO of Bin Ghalib Group of Companies said: “4IR solutions such as digital technology and automation are constantly evolving. This includes deploying artificial intelligence and launching more compliant A satellite of the UAE’s vision.”

The Bin Ghalib Group of Companies builds on its many recent successes and plans for the future. Earlier this year, one of its subsidiaries, Binghalib Technology, received a Certificate of Appreciation from Dubai South for its skills as a service provider. Another subsidiary, Marshall Intech, helped develop the UAE’s Ghalib satellite, which was launched last year to track falcon migrations in the emirate.

The group also participated in events such as ADIPEC 2022, WETEX and Dubai Solar 2022, showcasing the work of door and window manufacturer Tamco; Roll International, manufacturer of fly screens, blinds and accessories; Syscom, providing industrial automation solutions; BMS Btech, and its building management system.
