UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs launches Committee of Retired Diplomats

Abu Dhabi [UAE]May 31 (ANI/WAM): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the Commission of Retired Diplomats to serve retired diplomats and leverage their expertise by encouraging them to share with newcomers the experience and knowledge they gained during their service Knowledge.

On the occasion, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, said, “Since the founding of the UAE, the UAE leadership has been committed to recognizing retirees Service during their tenure. In this regard, the Committee of Retired Diplomats was established to commemorate their efforts in service to the country and to highlight their role in building bridges of communication, demonstrating the global status of the UAE, and emphasizing tolerance, coexistence and deep-rooted human fraternity in our society Significant role in terms of values.”

He emphasized that the establishment of the committee is in recognition of the efforts of retired diplomats in promoting the UAE’s diplomatic achievements and enhancing the country’s regional and international standing.

He continued, “The Committee of Retired Diplomats affirms the Ministry’s aim to invest in their capabilities and benefit from their experience, which has enriched the UAE’s diplomacy, helped to strengthen the country’s position, and highlighted its Outstanding achievement in the field.”

The Committee of Retired Diplomats is composed of Dr. Saeed Mohamed Ali Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Committee, and the following members: Dr. Tariq Ahmad Ibrahim Al Haidan, Mohamed Ahmed Al Mahmoud, Obaid Salem Al Zaabi, Dr. Mohamed Omar Abdulla Balfaqeeh and Jumaa Mubarak Al Junabi.

The committee aims to provide advice and advice by developing a database of retired diplomats, building relationships with them and establishing an electronic platform to follow up on the affairs of retired diplomats, meet their needs and continue to ensure a high quality of life. Ask and answer inquiries.

Council members will also provide academic support by sharing their experiences with the Anwar Gargash Academy of Diplomacy (AGDA) through lectures and seminars, as well as contributing to ADGA’s research and research. (ANI/WAM)
