Deepa Sud, CEO of Plum Jobs, a Dubai-based human resources business transformation and executive search consultancy, said the hot jobs in 2023 will be mostly related to technology fields such as cybersecurity, data, architecture and software engineering. “As competition in the industry intensifies, the demand for capable business development, client retention and supply chain professionals will continue to rise,” she said.

Nikhil Nanda, Operations Manager at Innovations Group, said the job market in the UAE looks good and will continue to strengthen in 2023 as international companies expand their presence in the UAE, creating more jobs for residents.

“The UAE is moving forward and transforming most businesses to digital across different industries and types of businesses. By 2023, digital marketing specialists, user interface/user experience (UX/UI) specialists, BI analysts, data scientists and data mining Positions such as professionals will be in high demand,” he added.

In addition, NTU expects hiring in industries such as hospitality, tourism, aviation, logistics, construction, e-commerce, and oil and gas.

“Some of the white-collar positions that are likely to be hired in 2023 will be various support roles, customer service agents, business development executives, flight crew, engineers and technicians,” he added.
