She sued for material damages she suffered after being fired and losing her home

An Arab pharmacy manager threatened his co-worker with death after “getting him in trouble”, as he puts it. She filed a complaint against him at the police station, which referred the case to the Public Prosecution in Ras Al Khaimah and then to the Misdemeanor Court.
The plaintiff alleges in the lawsuit that she suffered material harm as a result of the defendant’s threats to kill her and her eight-year-old son. She was fired and lost her home. Her family has been unable to buy essentials as a result, she said.
She asked the defendant to pay her Dh75,000 for damages resulting from this, as well as court and legal fees.
Statements from the plaintiff and a witness testify that the manager told the employee, a pharmacist, that she was causing him a lot of trouble and that if she continued to do so, he would end her and her son.
The court estimated Dh10,000 in damages owed to the woman and ordered the man to pay both legal costs and legal fees.
