UAE President mourns Saeed bin Zayed, declares 3-day mourning

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan deeply mourns the passing of his late brother, H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who held the esteemed position of Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative.

The solemn news of his demise was reported on Thursday. As a mark of respect and in honor of the departed soul, the Presidential Court has officially declared a period of mourning, during which flags will be flown at half-mast for three days, commencing from today, Thursday, and concluding on July 29th.

In this time of sorrow, the thoughts and prayers of the nation are with the Al Nahyan family, praying for them to find strength, patience, and solace. May God’s boundless mercy embrace the departed soul of H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and may he rest in eternal peace in paradise.
