UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the disbursement of housing loans to 1,900 citizens in Abu Dhabi. The loans are worth AED 3 billion.
According to Abu Dhabi, the third home plan for 2022, which coincides with the UAE’s 51st National Day celebrations, reflects the leadership’s commitment to ensuring social stability, improving living standards and enabling citizens to raise strong and stable families. This brings the total value of housing packages distributed in 2022 to approximately AED7 billion, benefiting more than 4,000 beneficiaries.
The scheme will benefit 1,900 citizens of the emirate.
According to a report published by the state news agency, WanFalah Mohammad Al Ahbabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, said the package completes a series of housing packages that will be launched in 2022.
Dr. Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli, director general of ADHA, said the package, which includes payment of housing loans, distribution of houses and exemption from payment of loan installments for retired individuals and families of the deceased, is in line with the UAE’s Article 51 National Day celebrations.
