UAE President received by King of Bahrain at Abu Dhabi residence

ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was received by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain at his official residence in Abu Dhabi on Saturday interview.

The two leaders recalled the strong historical ties between the UAE and Bahrain and prayed for the continued stability and progress of their countries and peoples.

Sheikh Mohammed and King Hamad discussed how to further strengthen the bilateral relationship to advance the shared development goals of both countries and enable the continued progress of the UAE and the people of Bahrain.

The leaders of the two countries also exchanged views on some regional and international issues.

The President of the UAE was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency; bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Special Advisor to the Presidential Court Sheikh · Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.

King Hamad was accompanied by a delegation consisting of Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard and His Highness the King’s Humanitarian and Youth Representative; Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, advisor to the King on foreign affairs; and some chiefs and senior officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
