Abu Dhabi: On Thursday, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Dubai’s Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum His Highness witnessed the swearing-in ceremony of Mohammad Hassan Al-Suwadi as the UAE Minister of Investment.
Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, was also present.
During a ceremony at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed congratulated Alsuwaidi on his appointment and wished him success in his new role, noting that investment is a priority area of ​​the UAE’s comprehensive development strategy.
The President reiterated that the goal of the new ministry is to enhance the country’s economic status by creating an environment that makes the UAE an attractive investment destination.
This, he said, will contribute to the continued sustainable development and economic growth of the UAE in the coming years.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid reiterated that the ministry aims to continue to build on the solid foundations of the UAE’s investment environment, further enhancing its competitiveness to ensure the country remains a global investment destination and a major player in the global investment arena .
