ABU DHABI: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi arrived in Abu Dhabi tonight for a working visit during which he will lead the Egyptian delegation as the guest of honor at the World Government Summit in Dubai.
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the President of Egypt upon his arrival on the presidential plane.
During a short break at the Palais de Sati, the two leaders had a cordial conversation on the brotherly bilateral relations, aspects of joint cooperation and actions, and ways of further development.
President Sisi expressed his condolences to Sheikh Mohammed on the passing of Sheikh Mariam bint Abdullah bin Sulayem Al Farasi, and prayed to Allah Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, and Give her family patience and comfort.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of Al Dhafra; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi in Al Ain; Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Deputy Prime Minister Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency Yaed Al Nahyan; and some chiefs and senior officials.
Also in attendance were members of the delegation accompanying the Egyptian President.
