UAE revises fees for six-month entry permit for 10-year golden visa

Abu Dhabi: Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security announces renewal of fees for issuing six-month entry permits to facilitate the process of obtaining the 10-year UAE Golden Visa

The new fee has been set at Dh1,250 and includes various fees such as Dh1,000 for issuance, Dh100 for application, Dh100 for smart services, Dh28 for electronic services and Dh22 for federal authority fees.

Golden visas are granted to various categories including talent, scientists and experts, public investment investors, real estate investors, entrepreneurs, top high school students, graduates of accredited universities in the UAE, graduates of accredited universities abroad, and workers in the first line of defense .

According to the authorities, clients applying for entry clearance for the golden visa process are required to provide several documents, including the sponsored person’s passport, a color personal photo and proof of eligibility for the golden visa.

Applications for entry clearance will be rejected electronically after 30 days if the application is incomplete or the data is defective, the authority added.

If an application is returned three times due to insufficient information or failure to provide required documents, the application will be rejected. If the application is rejected, only the issue fee and financial security (if any) will be refunded. Fees will be refunded by credit card or by check or bank transfer within six months of submission of the application, but only to banks located within the country, for a period not exceeding five years.
