UAE: Sheikh Hamdan meets heads of Dubai government entities

DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, said the government of Dubai is guided by the vision of His Highness the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum seeks to take its performance to new heights and transform its operations to meet the goals of D33, Dubai’s economic agenda.

Sheikh Hamdan made the remarks during a meeting with the director generals of Dubai’s government entities at the parliament in Nad Al Sheba today. Also present were Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Director General of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Officer; Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman, Dubai Media Council; Dubai Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Arts and Culture Authority.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of further improving the efficiency and quality of government by enhancing collaboration and integration among government entities. He also highlighted the importance of keeping up with global trends in government services to maintain Dubai’s leading position in the sector.

“Dubai Government’s success in achieving high standards of service quality, operational efficiency and innovation makes it a role model for governments around the world looking to improve services and meet the needs of their citizens. The Dubai Government is also a leader in introducing advanced technology to provide better and faster services, ’ said Sheikh Hamdan.

“Building on what we have achieved, we continue to work on enhancing our services to reach new levels of excellence through increased teamwork and collaboration. We are constantly looking for ways to identify opportunities for improvement and overcome challenges that hinder our efforts Delivering the best government services regionally and globally.”

Sheikh Hamdan thanked all government entities for their efforts to keep pace with global developments, especially in the field of technology, and their dedication to adopting the latest solutions needed to achieve their ambitious strategic goals. He added that the Dubai government remains committed to improving its ranking in the global index and accelerating its digital transformation.
