UAE: Sheikha Latifa attends Dubai talent show held concurrently in Metaverse

DUBAI: Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and member of Dubai Council, took part in a unique talent show at the landmark Museum of the Future (MOTF), marking Italian fashion and the Marangoni School of Design, the Middle East debut in Dubai.

This innovative concept combines MOTF’s physical fashion show with a digital one in a virtual world, showcasing the creations of five top students from the Fashion Design program at the Academy of Marangoni. The talent show takes place simultaneously at the Museum of the Future and the Metaverse. Real-life models walk the catwalk alongside their avatars, resulting in a unique event that combines tradition and innovation, where reality and virtual reality coexist.

Located at Gate 8 of the Dubai International Financial Centre, Istituto Marangoni Dubai offers undergraduate and professional programmes in Fashion, Interior Design, Product Design and Visual Design.
