The UAE strongly condemns the terrorist attack targeting an Egyptian security checkpoint in Ismailia, which caused casualties.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) stated that the UAE fully supports all measures taken by the Egyptian government to protect its sovereignty and security and to combat terrorism.
In a statement, the ministry affirmed that the UAE strongly condemns these criminal acts and permanently rejects all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability and contrary to human values and principles.
The ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathies to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its people, as well as the families of the victims of this heinous crime, and wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.
