UAE Team Emirates pro hits driver head-on during training

Colombian sprinter Juan Sebastian Morano of the Emirates team suffered a concussion and a broken toe but was lucky to avoid more serious injuries after he was hit head-on by a motorist while training in Belgium , a terrible collision occurs.

Fortunately, miraculously, the sprinter’s injury was not too serious to require surgery, but it did mean he was ruled out of the upcoming Cobblestone Classic, including tomorrow’s Ghent-Weaver Heim and almost certainly next Sunday’s Tour of Flanders.

“Unfortunately, Juan Sebastian Morano will be ruled out of Gent-Wevelgem after he was seriously injured in a training accident in Belgium,” his Emirates Emirates squad posted last night. the statement said.

“Among his injuries, Morano has suffered a concussion and a broken toe, which will keep him out for several weeks.”


The Colombian is reportedly out of hospital today and has returned home to Andorra, where he hopes to recover in time for next month’s Tour de Hongrie.
