UAE: The emirate announces new taxi fares

The UAE transport authority announced new taxi fares on Saturday, effective immediately.

In an announcement, the Ajman Transport Authority set taxi fares in the emirate at Dh1.82 per kilometer.

The rate applies throughout July and is 1 fil higher than the previous month’s dh1.81 per kilometer.

The change comes a day after the UAE Fuel Price Council announced rates for the month. Depending on the type of vehicle you drive, a full tank of petrol in July will cost between AED 2.55 and AED 3.70 more than the previous month. View rates here.
