UAE urges clearing roads after minor accidents

The Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre issued a Facebook advisory, urging drivers involved in minor traffic accidents to clear the road promptly. This allows space for other vehicles and prevents traffic congestion.

Major Mahmoud Al Balushi, the Traffic and Patrols directorate director, emphasized that accident causes can be determined through other means, and vehicles do not need to remain in their accident positions.

He also warned that leaving vehicles involved in minor accidents or performing repairs on road lanes increases the risk of hit-and-run accidents and traffic incidents. The Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrol Directorate remains committed to raising awareness through informational materials and on-site workshops.
