The UAE National Center of Meteorology (NCM) is forecasting cloudy and dusty weather. Temperatures will drop slightly for UAE residents after a relatively cool and wet weekend.

On Monday morning, the Meteorological Department reported light rain over Al Bateen Airport, Al Hudrariyat Island, Al Muroor. At the same time, heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning also occurred in Mirfa and Al Sila areas in Al Dhafrah area.

The NCM has issued yellow and orange alerts for some areas, warning the public of the dangerous situation and advising them to take precautions when going out.

Mercury will descend over the country after touching highs of 45ºC. In Abu Dhabi, temperatures are expected to hover around 39ºC, while in Dubai, temperatures will hit 40ºC. Humidity levels in both cities range from 20% to 65%.

The weather service is forecasting light to moderate winds, sometimes fresh to strong winds, with clouds kicking up dust and sand and reducing horizontal visibility. Seas in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of ​​Oman will experience light to moderate swells, sometimes rough due to cloud activity.
