The National Weather Center said the day will be sunny to partly cloudy and hazy at times.
Moderate to fresh winds, sometimes strong offshore, causing sand and dust during the day.
Authorities have issued a yellow fog alert for parts of the country. “From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 8:30 a.m. Saturday there is the potential for fog formation and reduced horizontal visibility, with occasional further reductions in some northern and eastern interior areas,” the alert said.
Temperatures in the country can reach as high as 30ºC. Mercury temperatures will rise to 22ºC in Abu Dhabi and 24ºC in Dubai. Temperatures will rise today.
However, Abu Dhabi and Dubai could see temperatures as low as 18ºC, while domestic regions could see temperatures as low as 8ºC.
The evening and Sunday morning will be very humid, with fog or mist possible for some inland areas in the east. Humidity levels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be between 50% and 90%.
Sea conditions will be severe in the Arabian Gulf and light to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
