[ad_1]

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates’ biggest weight loss challenge is back for its third edition, offering cash prizes worth AED 50,000 (Rs 11,07,508) to those who shed the most weight.

The competition, jointly launched by RAK Hospital and the Ministry of Health and Prevention, is called “The Biggest Dieter’s Challenge”.

The 8-week challenge runs from Friday 20th January until 22nd March 2023. Organizers expect more than 10,000 people to attend across the UAE.

Challenges fall into three categories—physical, virtual, and enterprise.

In the body category, first, second and third position holders are given AED 300 (Rs 6,645), AED 200 (Rs 4,429) and AED 100 (Rs 2,215) for every kilogram lost, respectively, according to Press release.

Prizes include cash, accommodation, wellness and holiday packages, and dining vouchers.

Winners in these three categories will be recognized at the awards ceremony. There were six winners: men and women in physical and virtual categories; and an enterprise team.

This time, not only the biggest losers in the men’s and women’s fitness groups received cash prizes, but also the runners-up and third place prizes. Certificates will be awarded to the first 100 participants.

Interested participants need to register through the online registration link of Ras Al Khaimah Hospital. Registration starts on January 12 and ends on January 22.

Registration will also be possible at Ras Al Khaimah Hospital between 20th and 22nd January. Both online registration and walk-in registration are free.
