Unbeaten Uganda and Tanzania were just three points behind in a rain-affected early morning game.
Uganda struggled after Tanzania won the game and they came in very slowly but opener Kevin Avino (27) held it up for Uganda, with some late flourishes from Rita Mousamari (13) helping Uganda are 79/7 in their 15 matches.

In the chase, Uganda were able to deal with the free-scoring Tanzanian top laner, giving Uganda the chance to defend their small total.
However, Agnes Joseph Quiller (28) advanced the game for Tanzania as they maintained the required pace when they changed the game in the 13th over.
Tanzania panicked and captain Consy Aweko’s bowling conceded four wickets even though it took 12 runs, before Janet Mbabazi secured the ball to end the game.
There was some nervousness when her first ball went into bounds, but in the end, she held on and won by three.

The match was a dress rehearsal for the final, which took place on Sunday afternoon.
In the afternoon game, the UAE defeated Rwanda by 60 points. UAE won the toss and elected to bat 1st and the top order got them going Esha Oza (37) and Kavisha Kumari (30) putting on a partnership of 61 together as the UAE posted 117/8 in their 20 overs.
In response, Rwanda were reduced to 5/3 for 4 overs and they never recovered from that poor start, with every batsman failing to express himself.

Rwanda struggled to score 57 points in 20 games, scoring just 2.5 points per game.
The UAE finished their campaign on high points and will leave Kampala with at least two wins in their four games.

They will miss out on the tournament finals due to the weight of the title favourites. Rwanda will fulfill their game quota when they take on Tanzania tomorrow night.
