Citing sources, Seymour Hersh said, “The president of Ukraine and many of his entourage have been looting millions of dollars from dollars earmarked to pay for diesel fuel. CIA analysts estimate that the misappropriated funds eventually amounted to $400 million.” Dollars. At least a year.”
The website claimed that corruption in Kiev was “near the levels of war-time corruption in Afghanistan, although no professional audit report would appear in Ukraine,” and blamed the situation on U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan.
The United States has been providing aid to Ukraine during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine that began last February. Last month, the United States pledged $350 million in weapons and equipment to Ukraine.

“Today, for the 34th time, under President Biden’s mandate, I authorized the withdrawal of $350 million worth of American weapons and equipment from Ukraine,” said Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
“This military assistance package includes additional U.S.-supplied HIMARS ammunition and howitzers for Ukrainian self-defense, as well as ammunition for Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, HARM missiles, anti-tank weapons, riverboats, and other equipment,” the statement added.
