Union Coop manages 171,104 purchase orders digitally

Dubai-based retailer ‘Union Coop’ has confirmed that its Smart App and online store processed 171,104 food and non-food orders from the beginning of 2023 to the end of May.

This indicates that the retailer is fulfilling over 1,100 requests per day and is in the process of expanding deliveries to all areas of the UAE. The scope of expansion includes Ajman, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, parts of Abu Dhabi and all of Dubai.

The Smart Store includes thousands of different products – with new products added daily, as part of the co-op’s efforts to provide consumers with the highest quality products at competitive prices, in line with the evolution of the retail industry.

300,000 registered users

The co-op also says its smart app has more than 300,000 registered users who can experience the same Union Coop store from the comfort of their phone screen. This shows a high level of consumer trust in the co-op.

Union Coop mentioned that it has run 40 promotions through its smart stores since the beginning of 2023, noting that the digital platform offers many benefits to consumers, such as dedicated smart promotions with discounts of up to 70% on some products, Some are only available online. Consumers can use ‘Tamayaz’ loyalty points with every purchase and after accumulating enough points, consumers can redeem them or use their Tamayaz Card to enjoy exclusive discounts.

Union Coop offers multiple delivery options for purchases made by consumers through smart stores, online stores or a new virtual reality app, such as express delivery within 45 minutes, regular delivery within 2 to 4 hours, or from the nearest branch. Orders are delivered in accordance with international health and safety standards and the Co-op ensures fresh, chilled and frozen produce is delivered to shoppers at its branches. — trade arab news agency
